Get Your Files Back!
It doesn't matter if you meant to lose the data or not if it is gone. Luckily, you may be able to get it back with software or hardware designed to either recover deleted files or copy information from a crashed hard drive. Deleted file recovery often only takes a few minutes, given that today's drives are so vast that the deleted file is not really gone, but only missing its address. If the file has not been overwritten, then you have a good chance of getting it back with software like Recover My Files or several other brands. For hard drive crashes, you may have to send the drive to a facility where a few hundred dollars will get back your data. This may sound expensive, but the cost of record recreation can go into the hundreds of thousands.
Notes and Special Information
Special note: As Mr. Scott would say, "I can't work miracles." Sometimes a disk drive is damaged, corrupted, or wiped beyond repair. Some services intentionally destroy data beyond current recovery capabilities.
