High Glycemic Index Carbohydrates Cause Problems

Low GI foods like pasta, beans, cereals, fruits, and vegetables offer an alternative for carb-conscious dieters and people who want to prevent health problems later in life. High GI foods appear to counteract good cholesterol, which may increase the risk for heart disease.
