Linda McCartney (originally Linda Eastman) was a well known rock photographer before her wedding to Paul McCartney. Her 1969 wedding
to Paul led to some derision among fans, similar to the dislike of Yoko Ono. Her involvement in Wings, as a keyboardist, also
led to some unfortunate ridicule, even though it was Paul who wanted her as part of the group so she could go on the road with
him. Unlike many married couples, they were famously close to the extent that they only spent 11 days apart in 29 years, and
some of those were due to his arrest in Japan. She died in Tucson, Arizona from the effects of breast cancer. In concerts, Paul still
speaks of her and the songs she inspired..
